And some of the scenery pics I promised on the other page. These were not taken by me, but by a genuine fellow traveler, then scanned in and emailed to me. So they follow his route of wanderlust and I have not seen these places with my own eyes. But a picture is worth a thousand words, so enjoy!

The notorious Ayers Rock. Aborigines believe this is the heart of the world. I've had mixed reviews about visting this place... some go and say "Wow... it's um... it's a big rock." Others feel that the answers to all life's questions are there in this rock, and they are spiritually moved by the sight of it. Having a can of Guiness in your hand while pondering said life questions apparently helps a great deal, too.

Kata Tjuta. It's much bigger than it appears in this picture. I'm not quite sure where it's located and I don't know any history behind it, but it's in Oz, so it's on this page.

Taken in Coober Pedy's cemetery. The headstone reads "Here I lie in a state of bliss, beneath a keg of piss...Have a drink on me" (Piss is Aussie slang for beer).

One of the most famous sights in Australia is this, of The Twelve Apostles found along the Great Ocean Road. I think there's only eleven 'apostles' left standing now, however. The Great Ocean Road tour (or you can drive it yourself, it's a one day trip) is probably one of the best things a visitor can take to enjoy that part of Australia (which is Melbourne/Victoria area). Cheap to do and there's a lot of travel packages you can choose from any agency on the street which will be good ones. Also check out the "swim with the Dolphins" packages offered. Hotel Bakpak had its own travel agency right inside, Backpacker's World, and it was convenient, but any place could set you up with a nice one or two-day trip down the Great Ocean Road.

And just in case you're not sure if you're going the right way, well... now you do.

Not sure where this was taken... but it sure is perty, ain't it? Probably taken along the Great Ocean Road, or nearby.

Again, I am not sure, but as it was with the GOR pics I was sent, I assume once more that it was taken in that area.

Definitely along the Great Ocean Road.

More to come shortly! Stay tuned....
