Vashti is an amnesiac and knows very little about her true past as a human. She has learned, however, that the man who changed her, Tane Jabez, found her dying at the scene of a terrible car accident and took pity on the young woman. Her human form died and she was taken to the morgue. Before an autopsy could be performed, she awoke and escaped to wreak havok, slaughtering dozens on her confused trek from Nevada into Washington State. Her trail of carnage attracted the attention of Chalyss, who had just gotten the media to start leaving her alone as the Scarlet Slasher and were blaming her again. After a heated battle, where Vashti gained her monicker Talon from Chalyss, Chalyss managed to tire the werewolf enough and took control, forcing her down from the shape and talking reason into her. Both assumed she was an unnatural shapechanger, but that was later clarified by an unnatural who could sense others of her kind.

About a year ago, Vashti learned what and who she truly is, beyond being a werewolf. Her original wolfen form was darkest black. Now it is silver. As the black wolf, she was the antithesis of the entire werewolf nation. In some mythologies, the granddaughter of Cain, the Cursed, became the First werewolf, and mothered all the rest. Once every few centuries, she would bear a son, called the Bishop, who was the link that kept all the werewolves in control of their wolfen natures. Without him, all of them went feral. In response to the Bishop, a Nightwolf was created, whose sole purpose was to destroy the Link. Vashti was such a Nightwolf. Unlike her predecessors, however, the First managed to stop her from killing the Link, and then asked Vashti to take her place as First, letting her finally fulfill her grandfather's curse. Only a Nightwolf, always a female, could release the First, and then only if she was stopped before killing the Link. Vashti accepted, not really knowing what she was getting into, and took the mantle upon herself. Once the First died, Vashti became her, the Link now her son, and her wolfen form immense and silver. It is now up to her to bear the Links and protect them.

Talon has many powers, some of which she does not yet know. She may, of course, become a hulking silver werewolf or anything inbetween. She can shoot her claws like darts from her finger/paw tips, with another set waiting underneath. She all but instantaneously heals from wounds, even severed limbs, though dismemberment, beheadings, and incinerations may take a bit longer to recover from. Nothing short of pure silver, in one certain area, will kill the First. She is only starting to learn her control over shadows and mists. She is terribly fast and inhumanly strong. She has psionic abilities as well, and more she will have to discover in time.

CONTACT

Contact is a good friend of Talon's now, though their start off was rocky. She is even starting to leanr to understand Lil's Pidgin English. These two get along well enough and consider eachother good friends. Ex-GUARDian and a R.UN.ner.

CHALYSS
Talon's best friend, Chalyss helped her regain control of her wolfen side and took her under wing. Talon has begun anew life in Chalyss' home and her friends.

WHITEFYRE

Another unnatural Talon knows. They are friends and have fought next to eachother several times. A R.UN.ner.

SNOWFIRE
Yndia is the young unnatural Vashti and Paul rescued form the Cyhunter Warpole, his Hunter Squad, and Contact. She had broken away from them and cornered herself in an alleyway. Talon and Paul got her away eventually and took her to Chalyss' house, where she has remained since then. A R.UN.ner.

JULIAN MOORE

Julian is a robot Tee calls Kid, but in reality, he is older than she is, which she is unaware of. She adores the little smart-alek, and there is little to nothing she would not do for him. Their meetings tend to get silly and often involve tickle fights. She loves his amiable nature and will fight fiercely to protect him in any way she can.
