BACKGROUND
At about 12 years of age Yndia's power manifested itself in a brilliant and lethal display. With a burst of heat and fire, Yndia all but incinerated her abusive parents when they backed her into a corner. Shortly thereafter, the GUARD took custody of her and the Highlord, the GUARD's big boss, became her legal guardian. Yndia came to know the Main Complex in Oregon as her home. She was trained in a military-like setting which she despised as her father had been a Marine. At 16 years of age she earned the priveledge of a fieldtrip to Washington, a neighboring state. There, she made a desperate bid for freedom, escaping her chauffeurs and running through the streets of Spokane in a mad panic. Snowfire, as is her filename, was swiftly hunted down and cornered by a Hunter Squad and the Cyhunter, Warpole. There, in the dark alley, she was rescued by Paul Maul and Talon, friends of Chalyss. She lives with them now.
POWERS
Snowfire has the ability to project intense golden flames from her body, though she may not use them to fly. When she invokes her power her entire body becomes living fire, burning away any clothes she may be wearing unless she has on her containment locks, which are similar in look to bracelets and anklets. Originally, she had a containment suit, but Contact modified that to the adorments alone. Snowfire has the added ability to project intense cold from her hands. However, she must be in firemode to use her talent in such a manner, and then it only shows from her elbows down which become a blue-white.
Snowfire has also had combat and self-defense training, though she relies most heavily on her unnatural powers. She has also been drilled in the use of mental shields though she is not telepathic. She is now a R.UN.ner.
CONTACT
Lillith is a good friend of Snowfire now, though they used to be enemies. Snowfire knows her from her years with GUARD and now lives with the woman at Chalyss' house. They have become quite close and very loyal to one another.
CHALYSS
Chalyss is..WAS..Snowfire's best friend, even though almost 10 years separated them. Chalyss has allowed the girl to enter her home and offered her love and understanding. Yndia is not one to forget or abuse that kindness.
WHITEFYRE
Lyeth is one of Yndia's unnatural friends. They have stood beside eachother numerous times in battle. They are not overly close, but on good terms with eachother. They both trust the other with their lives.
SAI CANAAN
Sai Canaan is a young mutant, much like an unnatural, whom Yndia knows about only through Whitefyre... though she hopes to finally meet him.
GILD
Gild is an illusionist, escape artist, and thief....hard to catch and harder to hold, even in matters of the heart. He and Yndia were once in a budding romance, but that ended when Geoff's brother, Chase, was killed and Geoff drifted away. Yndia, who still lives with Chalyss and the others, now tries to keep a distance though she cares for him a great deal. She hopes that when he gets over Chase's death, they can pursue things again.
PAUL MAUL
A failed prototype for a new breed of Hunters...a technohunter. This one glitched first in the labs and then out in the field. Now it has taken on the personality of a deceased natural known as Paul Malone, and is a very large threat to the GUARD. A very good friend of Yndia's and very much like a brother.
TALON
Talon is an enigma to the GUARD, being neither natural or unnatural, but supernatural, as is Chalyss. They do not know how to kill her, and all attempts fail miserably. She can be hurt and she can bleed. Beyond that, they are stumped. Yndia and Tee get along well.....Tee and Chalyss the sisters she never had.
WARPOLE
Warpole was the Cyhunter who nearly killed Paul when he and Tee rescued Yndia from him and a Hunter Squad as they tried to stop her escaping. She managed to freeze him long enough for Talon and Paul to flee, but fears Warpole greatly.
SCATTERSHOT
A young Hunter Yndia knows of from her own days in the GUARD, and is very wary around.
OLD SCRATCH
Old Scratch, the leader of all the Hunters and Cyhunters and one of the greatest of unnaturals, Yndia knows him well and is right to fear and respect him.
