Graal, as he is currently known, is a full demon and Darke Lord, the sire of Chalyss, Sylff, Machah, Shaitan, and many others, now deceased. He has been worshipped as a god in many religions, old and new. He has no true physical form... his real self a shimmering form of dark, swirling light. Indeed, he is solid only when making it a conscious effort. He often retains a half-solidity, making it easy for things to pass through him, or vice versa, but also able to hold items or people.

He is unbound to his shape, able to take whichever he chooses. This is normally a human male, tall and beautiful, with a strong, willowy frame. Graal is coldly polite, very refined, and imminently evil. He has no redeeming qualities but can easily fake sincerity and compassion... beware, this one. He is never as he appears. His appetites are extreme and wicked. Graal is fiercely possessive of his children when it comes to sharing them with other demons... he will not allow this, especially when concerning the Rifter, Chalyss.

He has waited far too long for her birth to allow any other to take her. As for breaking her, that is his delight alone. As with his kind, he has great Darke powers, usable in a myriad of ways. He is also very adept in Black Magicks, rune casting, conjuring, energy manipulations, psionics, and reading hearts. Winnowing into desires and dreams to turn them to his benefit is a specialty of his. He will masquarade as an angel and speak words of love if it suits his purpose. And he always has a purpose. Cunning, sly, apathetic, intelligent, and ancient, he is a being to fear, respect... and flee from.

He, himself, respects other demons as powerful or more so than he, allying if it fits his agenda, betraying if it pleases him. He is weak to attacks of Good and Light, but little else. At present, he seeks to reclaim his daughter, the Rifter, and use her soul to open a gateway between our realm and all the hells, allowing the dwellers of these places to crawl over the worlds and infest them, spreading Darkness throughout the realms.

Unlike many other demons, Graal only occasionally offers gifts, in the form of jewelry, to those who find favor with him, or who have caught his eye. They always have a terrible price, but do not secure souls.
